With this online course you will be guided through all the
techniques and get given the basic knowledge which will make
you capable of creating displays so that they will look

Description of the modules
The decorating course is divided into the following nine
modules. You will receive a module every 6 weeks. The
assignments which are attached to each module are voluntary,
but highly recommended in order for you to get the most out
of your course. The more you put in, the more you are
certain to get out.
Module 1 training your eye
To really get started in the decorating business and
understand the techniques behind a professional display, it
is important to get started correctly. We begin module 1
with getting you used to reading a shop window display and
not just checking for products and prices.
Here you will learn about customer psychology. You will
learn about the wow effect and about creating harmony in a
window.
You will also receive an exciting assignment which I am
certain you will enjoy.
Module 2 Decorating techniques and principles.
Here you will learn about display techniques such as:

Symmetrical & a symmetrical

Minimalist displays

The repetition principle.
The module finishes with an assignment.
Module 3 Visual communication
Here you will learn how to treat your products and how to
present them. You will learn how to plan a presentation
especially in connection with changing seasons or campaigns.
The visual is a big part of decorating you will learn

Module 4 Knowledge of colour
Here we will be taking a look inside the world of colour.
You will gain insight into the meanings of the colours
combining colours what can be put together and how. We
will look at the NCS (Natural colour System and you will
receive a colour schema and an assignment.
Module 5 Theme Mood Atmosphere
When you are creating a beautiful display, it is important
that you, among other things, follow these three guidelines:

You will learn about this in this module. You will also
receive picture material which will be able to help, inspire
and guide you. There is a creative assignment for this
module.
Module 6 Trends
This is an inspirational module for you. Here you will
receive a cocktail of everything that moves with regards to
current trends.
As a skilled decorator it is important to keep the finger on
the pulse gain inspiration and kick-start your creative
ideas. Just lean back and let the ideas inspire you.
Module 7 Materials and lighting
Here you will get the know-how and the ideas for using
several different kinds of material to decorate with and to
use as wow factors in you window. We will also be looking
at the subject of lighting and different techniques
involving their application.
Module 8 Sign writing and calligraphy
Here we will be looking inside the world of sign writing and
gain insight into the basic techniques. It is important to
be able to write prices and text in your displays. You will
also have the opportunity to try for your self and practice
on the material you will receive for this module.
Module 9 Practical assignment
In order for you to receive the certificate for you
decorating course you most complete a test. This test will
be mostly practical and only a bit theoretical.
It is a fun and creative assignment which will follow up and
put together all you have learnt on this course.
When you have completed the test you mail it to Che Bello
Academy. If 80% of your answers are correct and if you
practical assignment meet the standard requirements, you
will shortly be receiving your certificate.
The test is of course voluntary but it is recommended to
make sure that you have gained a collective knowledge of
decorating and it will help finish the course in a nice way.
