Module 1 – Home and life style.

Here you will learn how to train your eye so you can easily judge a room from these three perspectives:

l       Function

l       Theme

l       Harmony

You will also receive tricks, ideas and trends to get you started.

You will learn about lifestyle and you will become much more adept at evaluating people’s preferences in the home's styling situation.

You will learn why home and lifestyle are closely connected.

Module 2 – Styles

In this module you will learn about different styles you might encounter in a Interior Decorating situation.

You will learn about which type of styles go 9together and which don’t.

In this module we will also approach accessories and their importance. There will be more tasks for the creative folder.

Module 3 – Colours

In module 3 you will learn a lot about the world of colour.

You will learn how colour affects us and how you easily and inexpensively may polish up a room, using the right techniques.

You will also be taught about all the possibilities that colour gives you so you can do magic for your home.

You will receive a colour scheme from the NCS system (Natural Colour System) and learn how colours are mixed and developed.

Module 4 and 5 – Interior Decoration - step by step

This is a double module where you will learn a lot about the decoration and function of a home.

We will go through the house room by room.

You will learn about light and gain insight into the concept of I-homes (I-Homes=Intelligent homes). 

Module 6 – Neo Feng Shui

Here you will get insight into this exciting Chinese interior design philosophy.

This is a phenomenon you will most certainly hear more about in the future. You will learn about energy fields in the home, the five elements, the bagua and the colours which are all so very important for the harmony in your home.

Module 7 – Decorating

Here you will be taught some exciting decorating techniques to give the home the final touch, and make it just perfect.

I will teach you the secrets of how to display accessories in a professional way.

I will also you teach the best way to hang up paintings and pictures and a lot of fun and creative effects which you can easily learn.

All modules are written in a simple and straight forward language. The assignments that you are given during this course are tasks which are fun and nice to fiddle with. I am sure you will enjoy them.

You will receive a new module every six weeks until you have completed all of them.
