The Interior Designer education

At the Che Bello Academy’s Interior Design education, I will teach you how to turn your talent into a source of income. After you have successfully completed Che Bello Academy’s course in basic home development, you are now ready to dig deeper into this exciting field.

I will start by explaining the difference – as I see it – to a Home Stylist and an Interior Designer.

Home Styling is the fundamental knowledge you must have in this field. You begin by learning how you with simply tools and by being creative can turn your home from something ordinary into something beautiful. You begin with your own home, your friends or family’s.

This is what you have been taught the home styling course and have through that already develop a taste for this field.

On this Interior Design education you will become capable of conquering the world with your knowledge, creativity and talent.

This education could be compared with the American Interior Designer education, which I have completed myself and have now further developed for this online education to your benefit.

On this course we will dig deeper down into the subjects which you have encountered on the home styling course. Furthermore we will teach you about the following subjects:

1. Sketching a room.

You will learn a very simply but effective way to draw a sketch of room and further create a raw sketch of the details in the room. You do not require any skills in drawing to accomplish this.

2. Plan drawing

This raw outline will now be developed into a plan drawing which is very important for you and your future customers when you are going to present you design. This you will master easily via my step by step program.

3. Furniture lay-out.

Here comes the fun part!! You are learning to create a beautiful and functional lay-out of the furniture. You will receive an exciting clip-art sheet with lots of furniture pieces which you may easily print out and rearrange on your plan drawing. Keep trying till you find the best solution.

(Remember it is easier to rearrange a paper piano than a real one)

4. Lighting

Even the most fabulous room can be destroyed by the wrong type of lighting. I will teach you the simplest methods to how you can create interesting and dramatic light effects in any room of the house. You will also learn how to draw the effects of light on you furniture lay-out and plan drawing.

5. Fabrics

You will learn about the different fabrics used in a home. This could be wool, silk, cotton, synthetics and so on. You will also learn which fabrics you can, with an advantage, mix and which you can not.

6. Windows

The windows in a home are very important. Here you will learn about your choice in curtains as well as styling window sills.

7. Wall paper

It is very fashionable at the moment to use wall paper in the home. Wall paper can with great advantage be used in many exciting ways. This I will teach you whilst at the same time providing you with links to some of the more fabulous types.

8. Flooring

Here you will learn about the different types of flooring: types of wood, carpets, marble, rock, mosaics, tiles, slates, linoleum, vinyl and so on. You will learn to recognise all different types of carpet.

9. Colours

Here you will receive a more indebt knowledge about the use of colour. I will teach you how to ‘train you eye’ and provide you with professional tricks so that you may easily and with great confidence chose the right colours for you and your customers.

We will also progress further into the physical, emotional and mental effects colours and nuances have on us all.

10. Harmony and accessories

You will learn all about the importance of harmony for a successful room. You will learn to coordinate a room with everything from your choice of fabrics, furniture, colour and accessories. You will be taught how to make a room appear smaller, longer, taller or lower. You will learn how to decorate a room perfectly down to every last detail.

11. The rooms of the home

Here we will work our way through the home – room by room. You will among other things learn how to create storage space, solve functional problems and how you turn difficult situations into fun challenges. In this module you will also be learning about the importance of the kitchen and bathroom.

12. Different style types

We will take an indebt look at all the different types of styles such as Colony, Baroque, Italian, Imperialistic, Art Deco, High Tech and many more. You will be taught how to recognise them and how to use them in you interior designs.

13. Visiting clients

Successful interior design is design which works for people. I will teach you all you need to know when you are visiting clients - everything - from personal taste, needs, wants, budgets and much more.

You will, for example, receive different questionnaires which you can print and that will help you with future client visitations. You will also learn how you in a beautiful and professional way can present your ideas to the customers.

14. Getting started

Now you are about ready to begin you career in this exciting field. I will teach you how to get started successfully and achieve satisfied customers. You will receive lots of tricks and ideas which will be useful when getting started in a new business.

After this there is only one thing to do – get going!!

The education in Interior Design is an online education. This means that all teachings will be happen through the internet.
