Welcome to Che
Bello Design newsletter
Che Bello
Design concerns itself with everything in Home and Life style development which
will be reflected in our newsletters.
You will
continually receive articles, themes, trends, good advice and lots more in the
field of home and life style development.
In this
newsletter we have chosen to focus on the subject "bathroom" for you. This room
might be the
smallest room in the house, but still be so interesting and so in at
the moment, that we have chosen to expand on this theme to include next month's
issue also.
In our next month's issue you will be able to read about how a small
bathroom may easily and with only a few simple touches, be made to look bigger.
But until then
– just lean back and enjoy the good ideas about improving your well-being.
Your bathroom – your
wellness-room
Who doesn’t
know the feeling of simply wanting to escape from time to time? – The desire for
just a few moments of tranquillity and just a little bit of time for
day-dreaming and well-being.
It can be hard to find these
moments
with a hectic life style where work takes up most of your time and
where meeting the expectations of the family is top priority.
But to take some
time for your self is necessary in order to feel whole whilst having the energy
for other people and other things.
Which room in
your home gives you the opportunity to do this?
Where can you
just shut the door - and even lock it without anybody wondering or asking
questions?
The answer is ,
of course –
your bathroom.
Regardless of
how big or how small your bathroom is, it is in this room that you hide away and
enjoy the silence and yourself for a while.

Guest luxury
- By a bunch
of washing cloths in the same colour. Roll them all up into a basket or
carefully arrange them in a stack next to the sink. In this
way you will have some nice mini towels for each individual guest.
An easy way
to create some luxury. Remember to place a basket for used cloths.

You might not
think that your bathroom is a place where you feel like spending more time
than absolutely necessary because it needs renovating or because it is grim?
You might not
exactly think that there is anything remotely spa or health-centre like about
your bathroom if it is much too small.
But the
most positive thing is of course that you may easily and at very little cost style your
bathroom without a complete renovation or doing any damage to your budget - and
yes, even if your bathroom is tiny, it is still your very own spa and
health-centre.
All bathrooms
become small heavens where we can shower and pamper ourselves when we need some
alone time. Have a look at the following ideas we have found for you in this
newsletter as well as the next one. - Seize the mood and the inspiration and create
your very own wellnessroom.
The bathroom is
a room you can easily and efficiently embellish with only a few simple touches – the
results will clearly shine through and give you a greater sense of well-being.
By adding
colour and accessories the room can become much more inviting.
Begin by using
the colours and the style you want and which suits your bathroom. Here you will
have to base your style around already existing ware such as the sink, the
bathtub, the shower and so on.
Choose which
colours will match and which design and style will suit your bathroom.
If your
bathroom is old and all the hardware needs replacing but you can’t quite afford
it, then try instead to work with this feature instead of against it. Accept
that this is the way your bathroom looks right now and focus on how you can
improve on what is already there.
Be careful when
choosing dark colours for the room. Bathrooms are often small and are therefore
not suitable for dark and heavy colours as they will make the room appear as
though it is closing in on you.
Choose instead
light and bright colours as they will make the room seem even bigger and more
airy.
Where you will
be able to play with colours is on your accessories such as towels. They come in
a great variety of colours and you should follow the current fashions and trends so that
you can choose exactly the colour that suits you. Soap dish - tooth mug – coat
hook – toilet brush – bath mat – even toilet paper come in a range of exiting
designs. Choose a style you like and match your colours to suit.
Seasonal styling
Another idea is
to style your bathroom to suit the season – like any other room in your home.
For example
summer:

Bath music
You can easily
attach a cheap radio to the bathroom’s overhead lights. In this way you will
automatically hear lovely music the moment you switch on the light.
Also try and
do it in your spare bathroom if you have one. It creates a lovely atmosphere.

Bring inside
the summer feel by choosing light summery colours for your towels. You can find
natural coloured soap, put sea shells, rocks and sand in a beautiful bowl,
church candles with glued on sea shells, maybe small homemade frames with sea
shells and much more…
Your winter
theme could be:
- Dark and
superb colours for your towels. Perhaps match your tooth brush and soap.
You could also
create a small decoration using bulbs, small branches and church candles in
matching colours.
It is always
nice and inviting using lit candles in your bathroom.
Either for guests or when
you are enjoying some time on your own. It creates a warm atmosphere in a beautiful
and simple way.
For Christmas
you could even transfer your Christmas theme on to your toilet paper by choosing
paper decorated with Christmas carols or Christmas trees (found in most craft
shops)
In order for
you not having to spend a fortune on towels, bath mats and other accessories in
a variety of colours every season, you could simply and appropriately put your
summer towels away in the winter and replace it with your winter things instead
– and vice versa…
Ideas for some well earned luxury to get you
through the day
In
the bathroom you will do well in thinking hotel and a little bit of luxury – you deserve
it.
The base for
creating this luxurious feeling is simply to keep it clean and tidy.
Spoil the
room with thick, simple coloured towels, a thick, white bathrobe and perhaps a
gorgeous brass ornament for different decorative soaps.
Arrange all your
cosmetics in either a porcelain jar or a brass container. High-light the
luxurious feeling with de-luxe crèmes, bath oils and perfumed bath soap.
Candlelights
are a must have… and perhaps even a chandelier in your luxurious bathroom.
Luxury – luxury -
luxury

Fill the tub,
add delicious scents, light your candles. If you do not have a
tub then get out a bowl filled with warm water and great products for your feet
and treat yourself to a nice footbath.
Press play on
the CD player you brought in with you and enjoy your favourite music. Some
instrumental relaxation music would make it absolutely perfect.
Pour yourself a
glass of wine or maybe even some champagne on a good day
J
Close your eyes
– let the stress of the day leave your body – think only about happiness and
good things – and listen to the lovely music.
Simply Enjoy – Enjoy – Enjoy
